Funds at work
Financial FAQ’s

Where do the funds go?

Funds generated from the SCTNow Campaign underwrite Special Operative Teams, sponsor awareness
events around the U.S., and benefit partner organizations that are working diligently in this noble cause of
stopping child sexual slavery. Our advanced donor software system ensures contributions are properly
accounted for and disbursed to these Special Operative Teams and partner organizations. Because SCTNow
is a campaign of grassroots volunteers, administrative and fundraising expenses are kept to a minimum.

Who directs the funds?
All expenses are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors of SCTNow. Partner organizations receiving grants from SCTNow are required to submit regular reports on program activities. Funds underwriting Special Operative Teams are directed by a separate board which includes two lawyers, two retired special forces officers, a CPA, a federal chaplain, and the director of a women’s shelter.

Are financial records audited?

Yes. All financial operations are handled transparently and with the utmost accountability – an extremely important value to this organization.  All donor contributions and financial records are reviewed and/or audited
annually by the certified public accounting firm of Heveron & Heveron PC.  In addition, all records are available to the public on Guidestar Charity.  Check at www.guidestar.org.
